Film
Three times a year students in the Entertainment Business Management program collaborate with other VFS departments and industry professionals to imagine and create on a grand scale, through a collection of short films called Compendium. You'll take intellectual property in the public domain, add your own fantastical twist, and engage your team to produce a genre-bending short. You're responsible for everything, from pitching the idea, securing writers, actors, and other talent, to creating the sets and working out festival distribution. Compendium projects to date have included reimaginings of classic stories from H.P. Lovecraft, Homer's Odyssey, and Peter Pan, along with twisted visions of fairy tale princesses and a zombie-filled Wizard of Oz.
